Someone will be minor premiers and 1 team will get the wooden spoon(Titans) raiders to finish in the bottom 4 but will avoid the spoon

Today's Courier Mail had their experts predictions. The vast majority had us spooning. The reason given most times was the loss of Milford. All but Big Mal had the Broncos in the Top 5 with the majority nominating them as the team on the rise. The reason was the recruitment of Milford (not Bennett). That's a lot of pressure for a fat kid.

I really hope he replicates Barba's career up there.

I have to agree. I really like the kid. I love watching him play. I don't blame him for going but I am angry about how the Broncos engineered it. It's my loathing of the Broncos that makes me want to see him fail. Nothing personal Milf.

His parents carried on like pork chops though, didn't they?

His mother blabbered to the CM like the club was holding him captive.

Absolutely, but I have no doubt that they were put up to it.

So much expectation on the Broncos, I would love for them to miss the eight.

They could have taken a stance against it so it wasn't played out in the media IMO.

Call me selfish, but I don't want him to succeed unless he is at the Raiders.

Top 4
Souths, roosters, cowboys, bulldogs

Next 4
Warriors, panthers, knights, manly

Then

Eels, broncos, Storm, sharks

Bottom 4
Raiders, dragons, titans, Tigers

Panthers and storm will depend on injuries to key players especially. Eels might sneak a bottom 8 spot

I can't see Manly making the 8 this year. Their roster is in complete turmoil, everyone wants out (except Matai)

And the Eels, dubby. What the hell are you basing their position on?? Reece Robinson replacing Jarryd Hayne??

Still got some class players though and in important positions.

I reckon they will make the 8 but not go much further.

It's nearly impossible to get this right but it's always interesting to see how close/far off you were at the end of the season, everyone have a dig!

Decent attempt, managed to get 5 of the top 8 correct and almost nailed the Raiders guess.

Sharks and Dragons were very wrong.

Manly and Penrith dropped down due to injuries and Souths underperformed.

Other than that pretty much on the money I think./

Ended:

Roosters
Broncos
Cowboys
Storm
Bulldogs
Sharks
Rabbitohs
Dragons
Eagles
Raiders
Panthers
Eels
Warriors
Titans
Tigers
Knights
well, I guess you could say that I'm buy curious.

Big League did a pretty good job using their statistical analysis. Here is the final position of each club vs their predicted order. They were a bit off with the Rabbits, Warriors and Knights, but those club had pretty bad injury tolls. On the flipside, they got the Roosters horribly wrong and they had the Storm considerably lower than their final position. Other than that, they were pretty close.

Act..Predict
2....1. Broncos 16.8
7....2. Rabbitohs 16.6
5....3. Bulldogs 15.9
3....4. Cowboys 15.9
6....5. Sharks 15.8
8....6. Dragons 15.5
13..7. Warriors 15.5
9....8. Sea Eagles 15.1
16..9. Knights 15.0
4....10. Storm 14.9
11..11. Panthers 14.8
1....12. Roosters 14.4
12..13. Eels 14.2
10..14. Raiders 14.1
15..15. Tigers 15.7
14..16. Titans 12.4
