Up to half of the NSW side is facing the prospect of not pulling on the Blue jersey again after the stunning capitulation in the State of Origin decider at Lang Park.

That's a bit over the top. The forwards are young, were outstanding in Game 2 and will only improve. With the exception of Hopoate, the outside backs have been great servants. The problem is the halves, and have been for the best part of a decade.
Cant make mass changes, unless we are upgrading on positions.

Beau Scott, Hoppa, Josh Jackson should all go. Greg Bird and Luke Lewis are the obvious forward upgrades there, with Blake Ferguson to replace Hoppa.

Hopa has proved to be an average footballer this season. For Parra and for NSW. Never deserved selection.

I look at Game 1 as the real issue. A stronger halves pairing and we would have won that game and won the series in Melbourne.

The halves will change again for next year, Hodkinson needs the axe and you'd think they'll roll the dice and give Adam Reynolds a crack. 5/8th position to be contested by Josh Reynolds and Blake Austin.

Last night, a 12-5 penalty count, the game sorted by the refs in the opening 20 minutes. QLD could deadest do no wrong. Probably the best they ever played. Even if the game was officiated properly, NSW would have still been beaten, but it ruined what could have been much better contest.

It's better than the article they have about Parker 'Biting' Gallen GE.... I hate all the papers though, as bad as nein.

One point I do agree with you on yeh raiders, is the fact that NSW had the opportunity to take Game 1 of this series (twice) and didn't have the shot for field goal. Qld took their shot and nailed it for the win. When the crucial play needed to be made, NSW didn't take their opportunity. In Game 3 we (NSW) were simply blown off the park by a side playing at the top of their game. Our completions were at a low 64%. When combined with our low level of possession (33%) that completion rate is unacceptable at this stage of the season. I definitely want the NSW hierarchy looking in the mirror rather than looking at the Refs.

The refs made a statement of how they wanted the game played and NSW didn't respond..

Fact is NSW still let 8 or 9 tries in, regardless of the **** refereeing early on

Arm was stiff. Yes. Hit the ball first, so unless he was carrying the ball in his mouth...

It may have brushed the ball but it didnt change the trajectory of the arm. Watched it again today , the ball didn't influence where his arm was going.

I couldn't see any bounce off the ball.. If it wasn't intentional there wouldn't have been any afters

No coincidence, but wondering what this has to do about Origin.

Calls to scrap live broadcasts of State of Origin matches in Papua New Guinea

STATE of Origin contests have long been famed as arenas epitomising physical aggression and tribal combativeness. However, that aggression is spilling over the sidelines with horrifying consequences.

To be fair, houses and businesses can be ravaged at any time in Port Moresby. I don't think it's limited to during State of Origin matches.

I reckon he is, bushy. Typical QLD behaviour really, all teeth when they're winning but nowhere to be seen after a loss.

I know Will Chambers 2nd try was good, but I think it's a bit of an exaggeration to say he ran 175m to score it...
