Cant make mass changes, unless we are upgrading on positions.Dr Zaius wrote:That's a bit over the top. The forwards are young, were outstanding in Game 2 and will only improve. Beau Scott, Hoppa, Josh Jackson should all go. Greg Bird and Luke Lewis are the obvious forward upgrades there, with Blake Ferguson to replace Hoppa.
Hopa has proved to be an average footballer this season. For Parra and for NSW. Never deserved selection.
I look at Game 1 as the real issue. A stronger halves pairing and we would have won that game and won the series in Melbourne.
The halves will change again for next year, Hodkinson needs the axe and you'd think they'll roll the dice and give Adam Reynolds a crack. 5/8th position to be contested by Josh Reynolds and Blake Austin.
Last night, a 12-5 penalty count, the game sorted by the refs in the opening 20 minutes. QLD could deadest do no wrong. Probably the best they ever played. Even if the game was officiated properly, NSW would have still been beaten, but it ruined what could have been much better contest.
