Reading Mounties write up all he did was kick goals and put a grubber in for a try

MATCH REPORT: Mounties v Cronulla Sharks

Mounties finished off the regular season in style with a thrilling 38-24 win over the Cronulla Sharks at Mounties Sports Ground on Saturday.

In the 74th minute Cronulla looked to take back the game however the last pass went astray and from the next set Mitch Cahalane busted the defence and sent Reece Robinson away for his second and the score was 32-24 with five minutes to go.

Cronulla tried hard to get back into the lead however in the final minute it was Campese who delivered the killer blow when he again grubbered for Dargan who was hungrier than his opposite man and dived on the ball to make it three tries for the day and Campese closed out the game for Mounties with a sideline conversion to make the final score 38-24.

Mounties now take on the New Zealand Warriors in an elimination semi final at Leichhardt Oval next Sunday at 2pm.

Damn Michael Sio plays in Jumper 4 and 17. We need a player like that who is big and plays in 2 position.
Is Abraham Papalii any relation to Josh

Edit: Better Nickman!!

Mounties (5) Vs NZ Warriors (8)

Leichhardt Oval, Sunday, September 7
Kick-off: 2.00pm
Referee: Chris Treneman
Video Broadcast: NSWRL Livestream

Summary: It’s do or die here when Mounties face off against the Warriors. In what was an amazing regular season, the Warriors secured their place inside the top eight in what was the final match of the season thanks to a 48-12 win over the Bears. The win was the Warriors first since round 20 when they accounted for Manly. At that stage the Warriors still looked a good chance of finishing in the top four, but after four successive losses, the Warriors only just ended up sneaking in. Mounties also spent plenty of time inside the top four during 2014 but despite winning four of their last six, Mounties have found themselves in a week one elimination final. Mounties fired up in the second half last week and accounted for the Sharks and will be hoping to continue the dominance that they have shown over the Warriors in 2014 as they have managed to pile on 84 points in their two meetings. Despite the Warriors indifferent form to finish the season, perhaps they played their way into some form last Sunday, and with nothing to lose, expect them to throw a few curveballs at their opponents on the weekend. In team news, Mounties will carry a near unchanged side into this weekend’s match and will be hopeful of progressing to week two when a number of players may become available. Mitch Cornish, Jeremy Hawkins and Matt McIlwrick to name a few could all be available next weekend if Mounties are able to overcome the Warriors. For the Warriors, Tangi Ropati replaces Jarrod Wilson and John Palavi comes in for Feleti Mateo who has been recalled to the NRL after starring in the Warriors win over the Bears.

2014 Head to Head Results:

Mounties 42 def. NZ Warriors 22 at Eden Park (Round 9)

Mounties 42 def. NZ Warriors 4 at Aubrey Keech Reserve (Round 21)

Prediction: Will go with Mounties but the Warriors are a big chance. Mounties by 4.

8th min TRY WARRIORS to Siliva Havili. It's a simple try from close range, next to the posts, off the back of a penalty against Cahalane for a high shot. Converted.

15th min TRY WARRIORS to Carlos Tuimavave. The attack took advantage of Ryan Carr being down. Mounties have produced a couple of poor handling errors and are just inviting the Warriors to score. Five eighth Chad Townsend converts.

Warriors 12-0

And it is followed up by Terry Campese's kick off going out on the full.

21st min TRY WARRIORS to winger Tangi Ropati in the corner. The Warriors are running and passing at will, it's off the back of another penalty, this time for off side at marker. Chad Townsend misses the conversion from out wide.

25th min TRY WARRIORS to Carlos Tuimavave. It's far too easy, with the Warriors getting back to back sets after forcing a line drop out. Mounties are completely asleep. Chad Townsend converts from out wide.

29th min TRY MOUNTIES to Reece Robinson in the corner, set up by a great break from Jack Ahearn. Finally, Mounties look alive in possession. Campese misses the conversion from the sideline.

32nd min TRY MOUNTIES to Sami Sauiluma. Good short run down the sideline and somehow he grounds it in the corner. And Terry Campese converts this one from the sideline.

37th min TRY MOUNTIES to Tevita Pangai Junior. It's scored on the last tackle, with Campese instrumental in switching the play twice. Campese converts from reasonably close to the posts.

Warriors 22-16

Mounties almost score off a penalty kick after the siren for half time, but Dargan is tackled over the sideline 1m out.

49th min Terry Campese line drop out, goes for the touch line and kicks out on the full. Penalty in front to the Warriors. It's the worst line drop out you could ever hope to see.

PENALTY GOAL WARRIORS to Townsend.

Son, we live in a world that has forums, and those forums have to be guarded by Mods. Who's gonna do it? You? You, Nickman? I have a greater responsibility than you can possibly fathom. You weep for Lucy, and you curse GE. You have that luxury. You have the luxury of not knowing what I know -- that GE’s moderation, while tragic, probably saved lives; and my existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, keeps threads on track and under the appropriately sized, highlighted green headings.
You want moderation because deep down in places you don't talk about at parties, you want me on that forum -- you need me on that forum. We use words like "stay on topic," "use the appropriate forum," "please delete." We use these words as the backbone of a life spent defending something. You use them as a punch line. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the blanket of the very moderation that I provide and then questions the manner in which I provide it. I would rather that you just said "thank you" and went on your way. Otherwise, I suggest you get a green handle and edit a post. Either way, I don't give a DAMN what you think about moderation.

58th min TRY WARRIORS to Michael Sio. The Warriors have had penalty after penalty, and a huge amount of possession and territory and it finally told. Townsend converts.

71st min TRY MOUNTIES to Kyle O'Donnell, some expansive attack from Mounties, one of the few chances they've had in the second half. Terry Campese converts. If they can come back from this, it'd be a miracle.
