2015 Mounties

Post by greeneyed » October 23, 2014, 4:38 pm

Former Roosters NYC captain Lou Goodwin is having another shot at the NRL after steering Albury to a third successive Group 9 premiership. Lou and brother Jake - whose father Matt played for Penrith and Parramatta in the 1980s - have signed with Mounties, hoping to break into the NRL with the Canberra Raiders.

there was a mention on the Warriors forum that Mounties may have signed warriors nyc winning hooker Kurt Robinson. would seem strange given we have so many hookers already but thought I would mention it

Possibility of having Rapana, Ahearn, Brenko, Sam Williams, Buttriss, TPjr, Mago, Bateman, Edwards, PAGE, all in their side.
Expect also guys like Hodge, Lachlan Croker and Heffernan somewhere in the mix too it's a big opportunity to see Mounties high up the ladder again.

You forgot the possible McCrone factor

Son, we live in a world that has forums, and those forums have to be guarded by Mods. Who's gonna do it? You? You, Nickman? I have a greater responsibility than you can possibly fathom. You weep for Lucy, and you curse GE. You have that luxury. You have the luxury of not knowing what I know -- that GE’s moderation, while tragic, probably saved lives; and my existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, keeps threads on track and under the appropriately sized, highlighted green headings.
You want moderation because deep down in places you don't talk about at parties, you want me on that forum -- you need me on that forum. We use words like "stay on topic," "use the appropriate forum," "please delete." We use these words as the backbone of a life spent defending something. You use them as a punch line. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the blanket of the very moderation that I provide and then questions the manner in which I provide it. I would rather that you just said "thank you" and went on your way. Otherwise, I suggest you get a green handle and edit a post. Either way, I don't give a DAMN what you think about moderation.

From the team lists, looks like Lynch, both Pangais, Kennedy, Barnett, Cronin, Mago in line to play Mounties. Shillington on the bench to get fitness reportedly.

Wentworthville open the second period with a try, but Mounties hit back with a try to Joe Rokoqo.

Mounties 8-4

And that's the end of the second 30 minute period.

Three minutes to go, try to Tevita Pangai Jnr.

Mounties 20-8

FULL TIME

@MountiesRLFC says David Shillington got through a solid 30 minutes, Jeff Lynch 65 minutes in comebacks. Both Pangais and Barnett strong.
