35th min TRY TITANS to Simeon Fatafehi on debut. Shane Hudson converts from virtually in front.

Titans 28-0

Solomon and Lawton throwing lots of punches with 30 seconds to go! Brett Solomon throws the first, in response to a smack to the face. They'll both be in the bin. They are. Penalty to the Titans.

HALF TIME

Probably favours us more. Our defence is terrible no matter how many we have so one less Titan might help our attack at least.

68th min TRY TITANS to Greg Lelesiuao. Some terrible defence from Canberra in the lead up. Nothing has gone Canberra's way, but they've been poor in all aspects of play.

Titans 40-0

72nd min TRY RAIDERS to Kalani Going under the posts. The kick on the last goes backwards... and Going takes it and runs through Elliott for the four pointer. Elliott looks like he's picked up a sternum injury. Tre Williams converts.

Titans 40-6

77th min TRY RAIDERS to Kody Parsons, off the back of a penalty. Williams sets it up with a pass from dummy half, close to the line. Tre Williams converts from the sideline, it just drops over.

Titans 40-12

Our future looks rosy with the talent we have coming through the 20"S,NOT,and to think some of our quality players who came through our 2012 u/20's side who come off contract at the end of this season can't even get the time of day from Ricky Stuart, the mind boggles.

MATCH REPORT: Holden Cup Canberra Raiders thrashed by Gold Coast Titans

The Canberra Raiders NYC side has fallen 40-12 to the Gold Coast Titans in a disappointing display at Cbus Super Stadium.

Mistakes were costly for the Raiders as they allowed the Titans to get an early lead. It also prevented them from creating any offensive pressure on the Titans line while having to deal with extra defensive pressure because of those mistakes giving the Titans good field position.

Even when they found themselves in good attacking positions they were unable to create any decent opportunities to get on the score board. The end of the second half was by far their best passage of the game and they will be looking to build on heading into next week.

Gold Coast Titans 40 (Roberts Davis 3, Leleisiuao 2, Hudson, Fatefehi, Humphreys Tries; Hudson 4/5, McGrady 0/2, Roberts Davis 0/1 Goals) defeated Canberra Raiders 12 (Going, Parsons Tries; Williams 2/2 Goals)

Very disappointing to see the under 20,s have such a big loss again. Good to see Jack Hickson playing some of the game at Hooker, he appears to find a lot of space for the runners.

Did anyone else notice this ?

In the lead up to half time both sides lost a player to the bin for punching. The Titans receive a penalty, the half time siren sounds, a Titans player kicks the ball out and both sides leave the ground for oranges...

I'm pretty sure I saw that...

Yes. That happened. He tapped it before kicking it out. Intentionally finished the half.

NYC Boys bring back the biff

RAIDERS forward Brett Soloman and Titans rake Karl Lawton were certainly not scared to let their fists fly over the weekend.
