Followed by a whole off season of "burgess laughs at offer to join raiders, says "no way ill play for them". Nrl to use war chest to return burgess to struggling south sydney"

So lets assume South Sydney and the Roosters say we want him because the Raiders made a play and there may be some interest from him coming back. Lets just say they both make inquiries at 1.2-1.5? Maybe this means a Kane Evans becomes destabilized because his spot will be taken by Sam and cap restrictions means he and others have to leave. If i'm the Raiders I would already be talking to him and whoever looks good in the forwards for the Rabbits and Panthers as they will all make a play.

All hinges on the desire of burgess to come back. Did he make the england rugby squad?

I think he did make the squad. Looks like he just wanted to play a world cup and not have to deal with the intensity of Madge. I would think while Madge is there Souths would be long shots, which is good because I don't rate their forwards. This would put the chooks in the prime position which is good because I do rate their forwards. TAP up the next tier players now and maneuver Burgess to Roosters might get us a couple of good players. Better than sitting on our hands complaining about a lack of forwards on the market!

@Gus10Gould where is docker heading next year? Why don't panthers want him?

Adam hasn't decided what he wants to do regarding his football future Melissa. Your second question is inaccurate

he's played a few matches for england but been shuffled between backs and forwards. league wise he's up there with sonny bill but he's not the allround athlete $onny is and even he took a couple seasons to settle in. i can't see burgess making the WC squad in his first season and even if he does can still come back for 2016.
we have a good solid crack and worst case we get the flow on raidernation detailed. win/win!

Yup average at best, would be ok for depth though, if he ever figured out he's the size of house and decided to use it he'd go good, I'd prefer Seb Ikahihifo who is also leaving(was offered an extension but wants to leave) , has errors in him but I reckon if you got rid of them he'd be a good nrl quality prop, has good leg speed and footwork and is more of a mobile lock/prop, hits harder than Lousi too with and without the ball

Like i said in thr other thread, if true, its s good get. However, can we have Tolman, Fensom and Bateman in the same side??? All 3 have the same playing style.

No. Came out not long ago and said he was happy at the Dogs. Basically knocking on the head of the Knights rumours

If we've signed Tolman we can just piss FPN off all year because Aiden will play 80.
well, I guess you could say that I'm buy curious.

Firstly, that would be awesome for the club. Tolman is exactly what we need, with Boyd and (to a lesser extent) FPN providing impact.

Secondly, I don't believe that Facebook source for a second.

Son, we live in a world that has forums, and those forums have to be guarded by Mods. Who's gonna do it? You? You, Nickman? I have a greater responsibility than you can possibly fathom. You weep for Lucy, and you curse GE. You have that luxury. You have the luxury of not knowing what I know -- that GE’s moderation, while tragic, probably saved lives; and my existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, keeps threads on track and under the appropriately sized, highlighted green headings.
You want moderation because deep down in places you don't talk about at parties, you want me on that forum -- you need me on that forum. We use words like "stay on topic," "use the appropriate forum," "please delete." We use these words as the backbone of a life spent defending something. You use them as a punch line. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the blanket of the very moderation that I provide and then questions the manner in which I provide it. I would rather that you just said "thank you" and went on your way. Otherwise, I suggest you get a green handle and edit a post. Either way, I don't give a DAMN what you think about moderation.

Yeah, I said that with considerable reservation.

Tolman would just about be my first choice front row pick out of anyone remotely available, given someone like Sam Burgess is a pipedrem.

In saying that, we'd have an absolute stack of cash available with Shillo, Edwards and Nicholls leaving.
