Do you know when it was?

Clue: it's a much rarer thing than making the top 8 which is often a poor team's condolence prize.

And we are still the top attacking team in 2015 by the small margin of 2 points.

I'd say 1994 at a guess.

Maybe 1995, but I'm pretty sure Manly was both best attacking AND defensive team that year.

Id imagine it was probably in that 1993-94-95 period

We got second in 2008 by about 5 points (that Colin Best / Campo inspired season where we put 76 on Penrith)

It won't be 93 because 94 broke all sorts of records.

If it's not 95 it's 94 for sure.

Im 90% sure we were the top attacking team in 94, and if we werent in 95, i cant see any season there after in which we would be #1

Was 1994! Scoring 677 points. Comfortable leaders, averaging 30.7 points per game. This year we're averaging 24 points per game.

Honestly you have to admit, these high-scoring seasons are exciting if nothing else.

this has been the best year supporting the raiders since the year campo turned it up under Henry, which was the best year since we won a premiership. 2015 has been awesome. frustrating, but still bloody awesome and more to come don't you worry.

2003 was easily the best since 1994 for me. We were playing the glamour clubs on Friday night football at full strength and competing with them.

Croker's broken leg and that horrible finals match vs the Storm killed it all.

2008 was a lot of fun - but we were minnow bashing.

2003 I never considered us a premiership threat, not once. In saying that, it was the closest we've been to one this millennium.

If you transplanted the 2003 teams mentality into this years squad they would be fighting for the top 4. Elliot had a lot of faults but he deserves a lot of credit for what he got out of that side.

Could also argue that was the last time we turned out under Crawley

All we need now is a semi-decent defensive coach and someone to fix our attitude and we'll win this damn thing

Club hasn't been the same J-Lo left the club in 2003.

2012 before Fergo and Dugan revealed they were huge merkins was much better than this year imo. We even won a semi final.

They repeated the 2003 Final vs the Warriors over here earlier in the season. J-Lo chewing out the touchie in the final seconds was a great moment. I remember he was killing it for the Dogs in 2004 - then after he was injured he never came close to that form again.

Proves my point that we weren't going to miss Milford and our big issue remains fixing our defence.

If we score 42 points, we're the top point scoring team of the year...

I think you will find it was one Bullgarelli who killed it all.

We beat the Warriors and we r in the prelim , under the old finals system 4 v 5 was usually a meaningless affair.
