Jarrod Croker defended well today. Just thought I should make a thread about it seeing as every time he misses a tackle a new thread is ****ing made about it...

I'd just like to personally thank him for being the only one out there that gave more than a quarter of a **** for 80 minutes.

Yeah but a decent captain would not only lead by example, he would do the coaches job and get the other 16 players to execute the basics of Rugby League.

He is down to 2nd in points scored this year now but the man who overtook him is the worst defender in the league (most points and most missed tackles). Either way considering the trash that is around him right now the fact he is still putting in shows why we would be a better team with more Croker.
Fine, don't sack Stuart!

Except both of them aren't news... This one is mostly sarcasm/satire as people keep posting an entire thread when he misses a tackle, and only people on this website go on about his defence costing us this year... Most outside of the club have no issue with him this year or last. It's been our opposite side leaking all the points....
Fine, don't sack Stuart!

He shut down James Roberts today. Titans also ran Dave Taylor at him a few times and he did the job there too.

Something else I've noticed, I think he gets us penalties pretty consistently (with the ball in hand, usually for them holding down too long) which is a decent thing to have up his sleeve.

I think he proved why he is the captain today...he really gave his all and never stopped looking for opportunities. He was the only player who showed heart.
And to all the people who doubted me, hello to them as well. - Mark Webber, Raiders Ballboy and Unluckiest F1 Driver Ever

I'm attacking in the right way, instead of just...attacking in the general direction. - Max Aaron (also eerily apropos for the Green Machine)

Yes, he is certainly good at trying. No one would question that.

I'll start a thread on the day he gives an orthodox pass, regardless of whether it's to a support player on his left or right.
Apologies for occasionally weird posts. I use voice recognition.

I'm not sure that Ultima is in any position to be critising people for starting threads.

The new McCrone. We get smashed, but at least he tried hard and didn't give up. The little engine that could.

Talk about delusions of adequacy.

Croker makes a couple of tackles, strolls untouched to the try line, kicks a goal or two, yet still can't inspire his team to victory.

I think the fact he was perfectly average for this game yet was best on ground for the Raiders says more about his teammates than it does about Croker.

I thought there was a rule about starting positive threads after a loss. You didn't follow the script Nickman.

Even when he's our best player you still manage to put a negative spin on it. Don't change.

Hey, hey, hey, Homer Simpson is a man among men, a personal hero of mine and an inspiration for my marriage. If I was equating Nickman to a Simpson father it'd have be Cletus Delroy Spuckler. Kids = post counts.
