I chatted with a nice Penny supporter throughout the match, and made that comment. I said both Simmons and Pomeroy were players you just wrote into the scorebook when they play us, but it didn't happen last night. He didn't really go close either. Though, the Soward cross field kick early in the game that Eddy managed to catch, coz it didn't 'have the legs', would have been it.

I await with baited breath the breakdown of stats across the entire season. Perhaps an average per game, season best and worst and against which teams.

.
I'd like to see a f/a for when FPN was on the bench and when he was on the field. I reckon it'd be telling.
well, I guess you could say that I'm buy curious.

I'd like to see the same stats for Shillington, Vaughan and Boyd too.

Plus I'd like to see those stats for Shillo and FPN combined and Vaughan and Boyd combined. I honestly reckon they'll be significantly significant.

I listened to the game on MMM last night and have to say Andrew Johns is the most unprofessional bag of dirt walking this earth. For those of you who had the luxury of being at the game or watching it on tv here's some of the crap he went on with.

- during the game he was giving updates on some World Cup. Japan 8 South Korea 0 he kept saying. Then later it was Japan 9 South Korea 4 etc.
- then he said he would "nude up" if Penrith replacement forward Latu scored a try. He kept banging on with garbage during the whole game.
Even Peter Sterling, Dan Ginnane and Bill Harrigan were embarrassed.
I got Foxtel to avoid Ray Warren, Phil Gould, Fittler and Johns. Now Johns is joining Fox. He even mentioned there should be a market on how long it would take to punch on with brother Matt after they start working together.
The bloke is a goose, how Ch9 MMM kept paying this clown is mind blowing.

Well Whighton has been charged for his tackle, that's me done, I lasted 21 years. This game is truly beyond a joke now

Someone PM me when the game is back to being tough

Has anyone got an email address for the NRL for complaining to?

FPN's influence is far greater than the stats, from behind the posts you could see panthers players avoiding him.

I hope for that penny supporter sake that they avoid the spoon with a win over the knights and no doubt with moylan and zelezniak etc coming back next year they'll be back up the ladder in no time
Yeah.
They had their 3rd FB out there.
The rookie Blake had to play all yr because of all the backline injuries.
They had 10 different half combos during the yr.
They did it tough this yr with injuries.
I feel sorry for them, but know we have had our share of injuries in previous yrs

They have a fair team on the sideline atm, and with Merrin coming they'll be good next year.

He marks his man, we hate him, he doesnt mark his man we hate him, as far as I'm concerned he did his job (brenko)
You never turn your back on the player with the ball... Brenko did that and we got burnt..
So he leaves Waqa 2 on 1???give me a break... That's why they apparently slide.... Lol, not fast enough because Smith got through untouched
At Sisa 2 on 1 there is a chance to force them over the sideline. If you just open up for them to go back inside they got so many more options infront of them. Down the sideline they either got to gas it or surrender if they don't want to go out. All I'm saying is brenko needs to work on his defensive reads/judgement if he wants to be a mainstay in 1st grade. Frankly I think BJ is pretty much a bigger version of brenko

Gotta ask the question do we have a team full of players that love putting on big hits? Pretty sure Papa's the one that caused Bryce Cartwright to join Jaime in hospital. Not to mention we got Jack, Sia, FPN (when he has a decent game), BJ, Rapa, Boyd and even Barnett

I'd like to see a stat about who makes the most decoy runs.. While I generally agree FPN hasn't been as strong as he should, he does a lot of work off the ball, which gives Shillo more runs, making good meters, which helps create the deficit.

As i say all the time, i really couldnt give a flying **** how many decoys he runs, how much off the ball work he does, or who avoids him, as a front rower your #1, #2 and #3 job is "take hit ups and make as many metres as you can"

he simply isnt pulling his considerable weight, and he cant just continue to skate by like he did this year, we're too thin in the front row to carry that kind of effort week in and week out. He needs to shape up, lift his work rate or Stuart needs to ship him out.

Thus far he's been easily the worst signing Stuart's made. And when you consider what he might be paid, right up there in terms of worst signings we've made in recent memory.
