Honestly I don't even see him in the top 17 for next year...
Get Stuart to realise he is holding the club back and step down to player manager!

His second half was pretty good I reckon. He got binned but that was a very harsh call.

I probably wouldn't see him starting next year though. I think Rapana and Eddy have done enough to retain their spots and I don't rate him as a center.

I thought he looked up for it. He's just not as good as jack.

He didn't have a happy first half, mainly because of handling problems. The ball was greasy and Norman was kicking well. Today's game won't make his highlights reel but he copes a hard time on this forum.

He comes across as a bit lazy but I don't think he is. He is a bit like Papalii, probably should be two of our best every week but are usually somewhere in the middle and rarely the worst out there.

Our backline is Wighton/Rapana/BJ/Croker/Lee. We could still even buy someone but Waqa is a better winger than he is a centre and he isn't a better winger than Rapana or Lee... And considering how much I've been riding Lee this year that's saying a lot (granted Lee has improved a lot the last few games).

He couldn't catch a cold in that first half.

Very experienced and level headed though.

Ordinary first half, a little better in second. Normally better than that.

It's a good thing that we've got 3 very capable wingers. I'm not even certain who are the first 2 picked.

Brenko has been generally decent in his 2 games as well and i'm glad he got the taste so that he knows what he has to do in the offseason. If BJ and Brenko both have massive offseasons, it'll be interesting.

He isn't in our best 17 but he is first cab of the rank if we need a centre or winger.

He's had an average end to a pretty good year.
Early in the season he was **** excellent for us, right up there with Austin, Sia and Hodgson in terms of impact

He's struggled in the last 6 weeks or so but im not worried.

I'd wager that he wouldn't even be in my 17 if we were to pick a team right now and everybody was fit.

You can bet it's a good situation to be in!!

I reckon there's a lot going on here that we don't know. The French rugby thing would suggest so. Physically he's as good as any outside back we have. I still think he's the best player we have at rucking it out on our line while the forwards are getting back. He needs to do better in other parts though for sure.

He's certainly not a fullback, as today showed. He's also certainly one of the best three quarters we have.

Needs to sort out whatever it is that's distracting him.. been great most of the season, but has been slowly declining to "ok at best" since around the time the article about the release to french rugby came out.

Going by the last quarter of the season, and especially from today's game, if you have to pick two wingers out of Waqa, Rapana or E. Lee, it would be hard to pick Waqa. The only argument for picking Waqa would be experience.

I think it just demonstrates why Jack Wighton will be our long term fullback. We desperately missed him today.

No more fullback plays for Waqa. It was embarrassing today watching him try and catch the high ball why it took until deep into the first half for parramatta to test him out after that first attempt i will never know. Sin Bin was fair in my opinion, its my belief that Waqa best position is wing not good enough defensively for centre.

Yeah I think whilst Waqa did well at fullback against the Dogs I think it was, we'd be better off using Rapana as the back up.

Wighton plays today and we don't go to extra time, he's an absolute weapon.

Rapana was very good at the back when waqa was binned today.

Agreed. It's all hypothetical, but if he plays I think we win that game easily.

Yeah he's got some problems, that's for sure.
TBH all our guys at thier best, i still think he's one of our starting wingers... but it's tight.
Our backline actually has pretty good depth. I think Wighton, Sisa, Croker, Beej, Leex2, Rapana and Hawkins could all be starters in the NRL. So he cant really afford to let those off the paddock stuff effect performance if he wants to play FG.

I'm ok with Waqa playing fb today.Although he didn't have a great first half, I don't think he could have handled Semi Radradra as well as Jordy Rapana did.
Hopefully he'll have a better 2016.

Haha, yeah i have to say ive found DF Rapana absolutely infuriating this year, he's hopeless playing this up and in style of play we defend with, his hands are suspect... but you cant help but love the way he plays, its aggressive and goes at it 100 miles an hour, and today he proved when he's allowed to just line up, one on one against his opposite, he can make the tackles. He had a great game today
