I just wanted him to win it so we don't hear about how dominant the Roosters were winning 10 awards at the Dally Ms. WELL ITS ONLY 9! HA
We have a decision. We're going to the board.

You can see that Jarrod Croker initiates the contact.

NRL now has to give him a seat in the back of the room at the Dally Ms next to caterer of the year.

He might even get a +1 if he is lucky!

Pfft. He'll sit outside to ensure the Sydney clubs all have seats.

Pfff they'll probably ask him to bring a plate of food and be asked to serve it as well

Congratulations to Crokes. Huge achievement for any young player under the added pressure of his debut season as captain.

It hasn't been an easy year for him and you know full well that he'd give it all back for a spot in the finals.

He's a credit to the club. I for one am glad he's our captain.

**** it'd be funny if Sezer winds up our kicker next year

Re: the point scoring title, its nice, and im happy for Croker, but the man himself said it best "I'd give it all back to be playing next week"

Sezer will not be displacing Croker. Sezer will be the Josh Dugan of goal kickers next year.

Not that I wish to insult Sezer in any way.

I saw a couple of people giving Maloney **** about it in the Gameday thread. The guy probably gives zero ****, his team is raging hot favourite to win the premiership.

Hopefully the broadcaster of the Dally Ms can give Toots some air time instead of giving him his award during an ad break.

Is it "that" big of an achievement? I mean, if youre the goal kicker for your team theres a fair chance you make up the top 16. If you play every game of the year theres a strong chance youd be in the top half. If youre an outside back also, youre a good chance of being in the top four. And if you are in a team that scores a lot of tries on top of all that, theres a fair chance youll win.

Son, we live in a world that has walls, and those walls have to be guarded by Mods. Who's gonna do it? You? You, Nickman? I have a greater responsibility than you can possibly fathom. You weep for Lucy, and you curse GE. You have that luxury. You have the luxury of not knowing what I know -- that GE’s moderation, while tragic, probably saved lives; and my existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, keeps threads on track and under the appropriate, highlighted green headings.
You want moderation because deep down in places you don't talk about at parties, you want me on forum -- you need me on that wall. We use words like "stay on topic," "use the appropriate forum," "please delete." We use these words as the backbone of a life spent defending something. You use them as a punch line. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the blanket of the very freedom that I provide and then questions the manner in which I provide it. I would rather that you just said "thank you" and went on your way. Otherwise, I suggest you get a green handle and moderate a post. Either way, I don't give a DAMN what you think about moderation.
