Well there you go, if we have a cracker year it will be easier to extend. Although wouldn't be surprised if some were extended before the end of this season.

We can now add Joel Edwards to that list. No idea why Buttriss isn't on there - unless the Mounties are signing him.

It's turning into a hell of a clean out.

Son, we live in a world that has forums, and those forums have to be guarded by Mods. Who's gonna do it? You? You, Nickman? I have a greater responsibility than you can possibly fathom. You weep for Lucy, and you curse GE. You have that luxury. You have the luxury of not knowing what I know -- that GE’s moderation, while tragic, probably saved lives; and my existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, keeps threads on track and under the appropriately sized, highlighted green headings.
You want moderation because deep down in places you don't talk about at parties, you want me on that forum -- you need me on that forum. We use words like "stay on topic," "use the appropriate forum," "please delete." We use these words as the backbone of a life spent defending something. You use them as a punch line. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the blanket of the very moderation that I provide and then questions the manner in which I provide it. I would rather that you just said "thank you" and went on your way. Otherwise, I suggest you get a green handle and edit a post. Either way, I don't give a DAMN what you think about moderation.

They'll just bring up their Ron Massey guys, and a few of our 20's

I doubt they'll be anywhere near as good next year

They are likely going to struggle in the forwards. On our current roster their side could be:

1. Rapana (if Lee gets in 1sts ahead of him, if not Stuart Mills)
2. Stuart Mills (if Mills plays fullback Cameron Booth might be here after coming up from the 20s)
3. Jeremy Hawkins
4. Brenko Lee
5. Gus Aiga
6. Josh McCrone (vc)
7. Sam Williams (c)
8. TPJ
9. Kurt Baptiste (if he's not picked in 1st grade, if he is Sam Duggan)
10. Jarrad Kennedy
11. Patrick Mago
12. Mitch Barnett
13. Luke Batemen

14. Sam Duggan (if he's not starting, otherwise Clay Priest)
15. Patrick Matelli
16. Brett Soloman (up from 20s)
17. Rhys Kennedy

They have a pretty good reserve spine if McCrone stays and Sticky doesn't pick a utility on the bench, but they really need a solid forward.

He hasn't just been given it, he's required it, as part of running a professional football operation. But the list is now more comprehensive than it was. For example, one person "incoming" has been at the Raiders for quite a while.

Also outgoing: Dave Hamilton

I'm not giving Stuart a hard time. It's great that he's got more resources and I'm sure any number of previous coaches would have appreciated the same support from the board.

The full-time football operations staff has practically doubled in size over the last 3 years. That's not a bad thing. Just stating the obvious.
